Easter Treasure Hunt
Take part in our Easter themed Treasure Hunt in the Brocksbushes garden. Find the painted pebbles and complete the quest to win a prize! Free to enter, donations to Northumbria Blood Bikes gratefully received. On daily from Saturday 9th to Sunday 24th April.
Meet The Alpacas
On Thursday 14th, Tuesday 19th & Thursday 21st April the alpacas are back at Brocksbushes! Get up close to the young alpacas, plus you can take part in a 30 minute ‘Meet & Greet’ experience to pet, feed and get to know the alpacas.
Meet & Greet is £5 per person and must be booked in advance. Children under 4 don’t need their own booking but must be accompanied by a paying adult. If not taking part in the Meet & Greet, you can still visit the alpacas and say hi!
Kid’s Fun Zone
The ever-popular Kid’s Fun Zone is back for Easter! Unlimited rides, bouncy castles and garden games in a 2 hour session for just £9.99 per child (accompanying adults 50p each). Plus, we’ve brought back the toddler-only sessions, which gives the little ones a chance to explore and play at their own pace.
The Kid’s Fun Zone (ages 2-10) is on 2nd & 3rd, then 9th to 24th April with three daily sessions; 10.30am, 1pm and 3pm.
Toddler sessions (ages 2-5) are on 7th (cancelled due to high winds) & 8th April at 10.30am and 1pm.
Booking in advance is recommended to ensure entry to the session of your choice. Entry on the day is subject to capacity, once the session is full the entrance will close until the next session.
Also visiting the Kid’s Fun Zone on certain dates are the amazing Bubble Man and Animals About Town! Plus, our dinosaurs will be making appearances during each session on selected days, giving plenty of opportunity for photos and special memories!
Bubble Man – 3rd, 9th ,10th, 14th, 17th and 23rd April
Animals About Town – 20th, 21st and 24th April
Game stalls and face painting also available at an extra cost.
Fun Zone frequently asked questions:
Q: What do I do if I can’t find my confirmation email.
A: Please bring proof of ticket purchase and give your party booking name to front of house and they will be able to find your booking manually on the system.
Q: How long does each session last.
A: Each session last 2hours. We advise arriving 15 minutes before your time slot to maximise your time inside.
Q: Are there toilets on site.
A: Yes mobile portaloo toilets are onsite and are located near to the exit of the Kids Fun Zone area.
Q: Do you accept card and cash
A: Cash and card payments are accepted in the Fun Zone. Face painting is cash only.
Q: Will the event/session be cancelled due to the weather?
A: The event/ sessions will only be cancelled if it is deemed a risk to the safety of staff and the public. We will notify everyone as soon as possible if this is the case. If you have not heard from us, please assume your session is going ahead.
Q: Can it get wet and muddy
A: Yes as the area is not under cover. It is advised to fetch a change of clothes and waterproofs in case of bad weather.
Q: Is there food and drink on site:
A: Food, hot and cold drinks can be purchased from the Takeaway and the Tea Room, no booking required.
Q: Where do I park.
A: Lots of free parking is available on site.
Q: What do I need to bring with me.
A: The only essentials are yourselves and your entry ticket. We suggest that your child wears socks when attending. Other things might include a picnic blanket or chairs to sit on (we do have some seating but it is limited).
Q: Do I have to escort my child between rides? Or can I sit back and relax.
A: We recommend that you accompany and supervise your child at all times, and ensure they adhere to the safety rules.
Q: Does the T-Rex dinosaur visit the Kids Fun Zone during every session.
A: Yes Kory the T-Rex visits the Fun Zone during each session. A meet/greet and a photo opportunity will be available. We ask if you could supervise children when meeting Kory and form an orderly queue once directed by the dinosaur handler. We do have the right to cancel the visit of the T-Rex dinosaur due to mitigating circumstances or inclement weather.
Q: Do I have to pay for anything extra?
A: Only for the game stalls and face painting if you wish to. Game stalls start from £3.50.
Q: Are event days cancelled due to bad weather:
A: The management only cancels in the event of weather warnings or extreme weather which is a breach of our health and safety protocols. The safety of the customers, the public and our staff is paramount to our operations. If an event day is cancelled you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
Q: What should I do if I can’t make my chosen session?
A: If you are no longer able to attend your session, you are able to change the date of your booking as long as it is in advance of your original timeslot. We cannot change your booking after your original booking time. You can change your booking by logging on to the booking system with the account details you created, or by contacting the Brocksbushes team on support@brocksbushes.co.uk Refunds are not offered unless you have proof of mitigating circumstances.
Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Dogs are allowed in the Kids Fun Zone if they are well behaved and are on a lead. Please note they are not allowed in the Farm Shop or Tea Room.
