The Pumpkin Experience is back this October and it's going to be our biggest and best year yet!

Every October, families from across Northumberland, Newcastle, and the wider North East join us at Brocksbushes for a pumpkin-picking day out like no other. Whether it’s your first time or an annual tradition, here’s everything you can look forward to this autumn:

MORE Photo Opportunities than ever before!

From a new witches area to our revamped famous pumpkin house & 'Little Brocks' Pumpkin Patch – everywhere you turn will be Insta-worthy. PLUS, a brand new monster Pumpkin castle is coming for 2026 - watch the space!

Carving is BACK!

Pumpkin carving is returning again for 2026! Pick your perfect pumpkin in the field, then roll up your sleeves and get creative in our carving tent. Carving kits can be purchased at an additional cost.

Our Family Ticket!

Entry tickets are £3.50 per person (ages 3+), but we’re also offering a Family Ticket for just £12 – valid for up to 5 people.

Toddler Days in the Patch

From Monday 19th until Thursday 22nd October, bring along your mini ones to enjoy a quieter environment whilst the big kids are still at school!

Explore the new Baby Brocks Pumpkin Patch and dedicated activities from 10am until 2pm each day.

Introducing WOOF WEEKENDS and returning WOOF Wednesdays!

Yes you heard that right!

The all new WOOF WEEKEND will be on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th only.

WOOF Wednesday returns Wednesday 21st and 28th October only.

These days will be dedicated dog-friendly days in the patch! All we ask is that you keep dogs on leads at all times, and clear up after your dogs using the bins provided.

'Twilight' Sessions at BACK!

We’re hosting a couple of magical Pumpkin Twilight Sessions – think live music, tasty street food, seasonal cocktails & mocktails, and twinkling lights under the stars among the pumpkin patch.

Twilight sessions will run on Friday 16th and Friday 23rd October only until 8pm.

Our 2026 Pumpkins

This year our farm team have planted over 155,000 pumpkins of various shapes, sizes and colours, all of which are edible as well as decorative.

Varieties include Flatso (flat with big ridges), Hoargarth (super warty) and One Too Many (animal print style patterned skin), as well as the Crown Prince (blue/grey), Mellow Yellow, Polar Bear (white) and Big Loretta (a big orange classic!)

Pumpkin Experience 2026 - FAQs

When will tickets be released for Brocksbushes Pumpkin Experience 2026?

Our Pumpkin Experience tickets will be released at the start of September! If you sign up to our mailing list you will gain priority notifications & access ahead of everybody else - Awesome!

When is the Pumpkin Experience at Brocksbushes open?

The event starts on 3rd October and is open across the following dates:

3rd & 4th October

10th & 11th October

Every day from 16th - 31st October

Late night sessions: 16th & 23rd October

Do I need to book tickets in advance?

Yes. Tickets must be booked online in advance via our website. Spaces are limited and we expect peak times to sell out quickly – we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable and this is clearly stated in the terms and conditions.

If you would like to move your booking to another date, we will require at least 24 hours notice and will only be able to move you booking to a slot that is not sold out already.

Can I change my booking to a different day?

Yes, you can depending on availability.

To do this, simply login to your Digitickets account and change it yourself. If you didn't create an account at checkout, please email support@brocksbushes.co.uk.

If you would like to move your booking to another date, we will require at least 24 hours notice and will only be able to move you booking to a slot that is not sold out already.

Is pumpkin carving included?

Pumpkin carving is back for 2026! Once you've picked your pumpkins you can purchase a carving kit at the tills in our carving tent if you'd like to stay and carve your pumpkins.

What should I wear?

The Pumpkin Experience takes place outdoors on a working farm. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes or wellies, and be prepared for mud – especially if it’s been raining! We recommend waterproofs too as you never know with the British weather!

Is the Pumpkin Experience at Brocksbushes dog friendly?

This year we're excited to bring back Woof Wednesdays & introduce one Woof Weekend where you're more than welcome to bring your furry friends to the patch.

Please note this is only on Sat 10th, Sun 11th, Wed 21st & 28th October. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and owners must clean up after their dogs.

Is entry to the Play Barn included with my booking?

No, your ticket only includes access to the Pumpkin Experience. If you would like to access the Play Barn, you must book this as a separate ticket. Book the Play Barn here.

Is there parking at Brocksbushes?

Yes we have free on-site parking for all visitors

What happens if it rains? Can I get a refund?

The Pumpkin Experience is an all-weather activity and will be open in most weather conditions so please dress appropriately.

Is there is extreme weather and it is a risk to health and safety we will update you via email.
