Sessions are run three times a day and must be booked online via our website in advance to avoid disappointment
- Peak (weekends & school holidays): 9:30 - 11:30 | 12:00 - 14:00 | 14:30 - 16:30
- Off-Peak (term time weekdays): 09:30 - 11:30 | 12:00 - 14:30 | 15:30 - 17:30

Quiet Sessions
Reduced Capacity - No Music
On Tuesdays from 09:30-11:30am and Thursdays from 3.30-5.30pm, we will host dedicated quiet sessions.
So whether your child needs a little extra time to settle, prefers a quieter environment, or would simply benefit from a more sensory-friendly session, this session is the perfect time for them to enjoy, explore, and make happy memories.

Play Barn FAQs
How much is it to take my child into the Play Barn?
0-6 months go free, 6-12 months are £2.50 and 1-11 years are £8.50 during peak times (£6.50 during off peak)
Do you have to pay for adults?
One adult can go free with each paying child ticket. If you have more adults than children in your party, you can book up to three additional adults for £2.50 each. Adults must be booked alongside children tickets in order to book your session.
What is classed as peak and off peak times?
Peak times: weekends, Bank Holidays and school holidays (Northumberland & Tyne & Wear)
Off peak: weekdays during term times
What are the age limits for the Play Barn?
The Play Barn is aimed for children up to and including 11 year olds
How long do I get in the Play Barn?
Sessions are 2 hours long and there are three sessions a day from: 9:30-11:30am, 12-2pm and 2:30-4:30pm
Do you have to book the Play Barn or can I just walk in?
During peak times, like school holidays and weekends, we recommend booking as if a session is full then we won't be allowing any walk ins. If a session isn't at full capacity there is a likelihood we will accept a few walk ins, but this isn't always guaranteed.
Can I go onto the soft play with my child if they require extra assistance?
Yes, you're more than welcome to go onto the frame with your child if they're a little wobbly on their feet or require extra assistance
Do you have baby changing facilities?
Yes, each of our 5 toilets has baby changing facilities.
Is the Play Barn wheelchair/buggy friendly?
Yes, there is level access throughout the entire building as well as wide doorways. For more information, please see out accessibility guide.
Do I have to bring anything with me?
Please remember your tickets, whether that's on your phone or printed off. We also require both children and adults to wear socks whilst on the frame at all times. If you forget these, you can purchase a disposable pair at the counter for £1.75
I can no longer make my booked session, what do I do?
If you can no longer make your booked session, we require at least a days notice. Bookings are non-refundable but we are more than happy to move this to an alternative date/time for you. Please email us on support@brocksbushes.co.uk and someone will be in touch.
Can I bring my own food?
Only food purchased inside Brocksbushes can be consumed during your session, this includes both the inside & outside play area.
We have plenty to choose on our menu!
If your child has a severe allergy or medical condition, please make a member of the team aware so we can make the exception.
Please note, alcohol is not permitted inside the Play Barn.
Do you take cash and card?
Yes, we accept cash and card (including American Express).
What do I do if my child has an allergy?
Please inform a member of staff as soon as you arrive if your child has an allergy. All food is made and prepped in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy and nuts.

Do you offer private SEN sessions?
We are currently finalising our packages for private hire of the Play Barn for things like SEN sessions. These should be available to view shortly.
