Please keep in mind, we only release Pick Your Own slots a few days in advance once our team has assessed the fields and our fruit availability.

If you can’t see the date you require please check back nearer the time. Occasionally we will also release additional slots on previously ‘sold out’ days, when we have more fruit ready to pick than we anticipated.

Pick Your Own Fruit Calendar

We grow strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants & blackcurrants, plus plums and pumpkins. See our handy calendar for an idea of when each fruit is in season.

What Our Customers Say...

Pick Your Own - Frequently Asked Questions

How much is it to pick fruit?

It is £2 per person aged 3+ to book your entrance time, once here you can pick as much or as little as you like. You then pay for the fruit you have picked, by weight, at the exit.

Do I need to book?

Yes – we carefully manage the amount of slots we release to ensure we have enough ripe fruit. This means there is enough for everyone who has booked. If you turn up without a booking, and we are already fully booked, we will deny entry.

Can we eat the fruit while in the fields?

Have a taste, but do not waste! We put a huge amount of time, effort and resources into growing the fruit, please respect our small business by paying for the fruit before you eat it. Anyone caught consuming large quantities before paying (or picking then dropping fruit) will be charged accordingly then ejected from the premises.

Can I bring my dog?

As we are a food premises unfortunately we do not allow dogs except for guide dogs. You’re most welcome to use our grassed car park for dog walking.

Are the fields wheelchair / pushchair friendly?

As we are a working farm there is uneven ground (including hills) which may be slippy, most of the paths are grass and between the rows may be strawed. For pushchairs, we recommend leaving them at the end of the rows while you pick. For those with accessibility needs, we would recommend visiting when the table top strawberries are open. They are raised off the ground – perfect for those in a wheelchair or unable to bend over. We would also recommend trying the bush fruits & raspberries, as they are further off the ground.
