Here at Brocksbushes, summer means one thing: fresh, juicy strawberries straight from our fields! We pride ourselves on growing a wide range of strawberry varieties right here on the farm, carefully chosen for their flavour, sweetness, and succulence, for you to either pick yourselves or buy straight from the shelves of our Farm Shop!
Let’s introduce you to the 2025 stars of our strawberry fields:
🍓 Vibrant - the early riser!
True to its name, Vibrant is one of the earliest varieties we plant. It’s known for its bright red berries and excellent flavour, making it a perfect start to the strawberry season.
🍓 Verdi - the most amazing aroma!
Verdi strawberries are loved for their sweet, aromatic taste and glossy appearance. This variety produces firm, juicy berries that are perfect for both fresh eating and desserts.
🍓 Symphony - a true classic!
A firm favourite with many pick-your-own visitors. Symphony strawberries are large, deep red and bursting with sweet flavour. They’re perfect for jam making too, thanks to their high juice content.
🍓 Malling Centenary - firm & juicy!
This modern classic is known for producing medium to large berries with exceptional flavour. Malling Centenary strawberries are beautifully shaped and hold their firmness well making them ideal for picnics and summer treats.
🍓 Elegance - hardy but sweet!
As its name suggests, Elegance produces stunning berries that are bright, shiny, and sweet. This variety has a lovely balance of sweetness and acidity, giving a refreshing taste in every bite.
🍓 Elianny - beautiful bright red colour!
Elianny is a firm but juicy strawberry with an excellent shelf life. Its mild, sweet flavour and attractive appearance make it popular with families who want strawberries that stay fresh just that little bit longer.
🍓 Parlando - small flowers, big fruit!
Parlando strawberries have excellent flavour and a firm texture. The Parlando can produce 9-11 large fruits per stalk, despite their relatively small flower size. They’re a treat for those who like a sweet, aromatic berry.
🍓 Karima - juicy & fresh!
Karima strawberries are known for their vibrant colour and deliciously juicy bite. They are a consistent performer in our fields, producing good yields of berries with classic strawberry sweetness.
🍓 Murano - bright, sweet & slightly tart!
Murano is an everbearing variety, which means it fruits over a longer period, giving you more chances to enjoy fresh strawberries later in the season. These berries are sweet, aromatic, and perfect for snacking.
🍓 Malling Supreme - glossy & very attractive berries!
A reliable and tasty variety, Malling Supreme produces berries with an excellent balance of sweetness and tang. It’s an old favourite among strawberry lovers and great for all-round use, from fresh eating to baking and jam making.
